A print based tribute to one of my favourite games, Super Mario World. The game was released on the 21st of November 1990 in Japan, so I wanted to do something this year to commemorate it's release.
The print features the 4 colours of the Super Famicom controller, which feature as a theme throughout the game. I aimed to create graphic elements which were instantly recognisable as things from the world.
I will be producing a limited run of 96 prints (The amount of levels / exits in total from the game) in addition to a limited edition postcard set. More details on the print project will be available soon.
